Our team.

UNBOUND is a student-led group, that was started in 2021 through a small vision.

Boss Lady

Khushi is a Senior Nursing Major and the Chief of Operations for UNBOUND. She believes design thinking unleashes your inner creativity to find new solutions for anything! During her free time, if you don’t find Khushi spending time with her family, you can catch her wandering the outdoors, attempting new recipes in the kitchen, or volunteering within her community!

The Doodler

Gabi Haring is a Senior Graphic Design major. She is the innovative mastermind behind UNBOUND’s designs and marketing. Through Design Thinking practices, she hopes to emphasize the importance of the natural genius that lives in every individual’s brain. During her free time, she enjoys knitting, playing handball with her four siblings, or doing anything that gets her creative juices flowing.

Rachael, was our president and graduated 2022. She was where UNBOUND all began. Currently, she is a 2nd-year medical student at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and an Alum of York College. In undergrad she found herself surrounded by the entrepreneurial spirit and got hooked. She took up an Entrepreneurship minor and was an active member of the Graham Collaborative Innovation Fellows. Despite her active lifestyle, she will always make time for design thinking and the UNBOUND team. Rachael believes in the power of empathy- the cornerstone of design thinking, to cultivate meaningful connections and fulfill a need.

Matthew Sharrar graduated 2023 as Supply Chain Management major with a minor in French. He handled the “Bizness“ aspects of UNBOUND. Matt feels that Design Thinking allows him to “connect and understand the needs of the end-user in unique ways.” While Matt is not working or studying, he is either with his friends or brothers, enjoying the outdoors, or watching cheesy action movies.

Jason graduated 2023 as an Intelligence Analysis major and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Administration programs. He believes Design Thinking is a skill that people can benefit from universally, regardless of major or level of education. In his free time, Jason enjoys traveling, as well as performing on stage, and enjoying the outdoors.
